It’s no surprise how heavily we all rely on the latest gadget to get from one point to another and as an event planner and content creator, I’m constantly using the latest technology to get the majority of my tasks done each day so I wanted to share the top tech items that I use everyday!
This one is the most obvious because I think most of us cannot live without our phones. Well–maybe that’s a little This is pretty much the all-in-one device (you probably agree!) and I totally appreciate the convenience it adds to my life. Overall, I generally like to upgrade each time Apple has a new drop because I find that it keeps everything running smoothly and efficiently as the tech gets more advanced through the years!
Like most, when I’m out and about, that’s when I use the most battery so this case has hands-down been the best purchase I’ve made BY FAR. Once the battery on your phone gets low/dies the reserve battery phone case kicks on automatically to ensure that your phone stays completely charged/charging at all times. This feature also comes in handy if you forget to plug in your phone in at night because there have been so many times where I’ve either forgot and my phone was nearly dead but with this, there’s no more worrying about missing any of my important notifications or morning alarm!
Devon bought me my AirPods as a random surprise and it didn’t take long to realize just how amazing these little things are! I use them every single day now! But really, I’m that person walking around with them in my ears to do everything because truthfully, small things like going grocery shopping or waiting at the dealership for an oil change is much more enjoyable when I’m able to listen to my favorite Spotify playlist [check mine out HERE] or podcasts.
AirPods are SMALL and I since I use mine frequently, I never want to risk misplacing them so I made sure to buy a case to protect them as well as to ensure that I don’t lose them while I’m out and about.
And when I don’t want to use my AirPods, I love using this portable speaker; I can pair it my phone and listen anywhere but I typically use it in my office for low music while I’m working or when we’re at the lake or pool and need some music while we’re hanging out.
If you don’t have a battery charging phone case then I highly recommend getting an external battery to plug your devices into.
These external battery packs are great for everyday use, but particularly when you’re traveling or enjoying a day at the beach/hanging by the pool… basically anywhere where you don’t have immediate or convenient access to a power outlet and you need a little juice on the go. I also highly recommend investing in a wireless charging tray (linked below) because since all of the newer iPhones and Apple Watches/AirPods automatically come with the wireless charging feature, it’s a super convenient way to mindlessly charge your phone without the extra wires!
Even though the new iPhone camera is really great, I still don’t find that the image quality is anywhere near the quality of an actual camera. So for the last few years, I’ve lugged around my Canon Mark IV (which is absolutely AMAZING device) but it’s so damn HEAVY so that’s when I opted to get something a little(lot) smaller that was overall more compact but still offered nearly the same features as my nice DSLR and THIS Canon is the one I settled on. It’s a compact, interchangeable lens camera that’s equipped with WiFi for easy image transfer. It also comes with 4K video with a flip screen so I can film, selfie… ya know, all the things I can do with my iPhone, but better. I also love that I can also snap photos of my babies and NOT have to worry about printing quality or size because if you’ve ever tried printing out a picture from your iPhone, you’ll know exactly the disappointment of how grainy the photo is. It sucks. So no lie, I actually use this camera every single day and make sure I always have it handy for the cute moments by keeping it on my kitchen counter for quick access OR tucked away in my purse (it fits perfectly!) for quick photos when we’re out and about.
